Tell us what you have in mind: a new patio, a driveway redo, a fence that's seen better days. A photo of the yard helps.
Pavers, concrete & fences
From a paver patio to a new concrete driveway to a privacy fence, Marin Landscaping builds the hardscape and fencing that make a yard work. Pick a service to see what is included, then ask for a free estimate.
What we build
Patios, driveways, walkways, slabs, fences and gates, all built by the same Menlo Park crew.
PaversA paver patio gives you a flat, tough spot for dining, grilling and hanging out. We lay out the shape, build a compacted base, set the pavers and lock them in.

PaversA paver driveway adds curb appeal and handles daily traffic. The base does the heavy lifting, so we build it deep and set the pavers tight.

PaversWalkways and steps that feel good underfoot and stay easy to keep clean. Straight, curved or stepped to follow the lay of your yard.

PaversAdd a fire pit, seating area or a bigger patio footprint, so the yard works after dark too.

ConcreteA poured concrete driveway is a clean, long-lasting surface. We prep the base, set the forms, pour and finish it.

ConcreteFlat, smooth and built to last. Concrete patios, walkways, pads and slabs poured and finished to the shape you need.

FencesA wood fence brings privacy and gives your yard a clear edge. We set the posts, hang the rails and boards, and keep the lines straight.

FencesA leaning fence or a sagging gate doesn't always mean a whole new fence. We fix what can be fixed and build gates that swing right.

Both can be the right call for a driveway, patio or walkway. Here is how they compare, and we will go over both at your free estimate.
| Pavers | Poured concrete | |
|---|---|---|
| The look | Many colors, shapes and patterns to choose from | Clean and simple. Stamping or color adds options |
| Cost up front | Usually costs more to install | Usually costs less to install |
| Cracking | Small shifts flex without cracking the whole surface | Can crack as the ground moves. Control joints guide where |
| Repairs | Lift and reset just the section that sank | Patches show, and a big crack can mean replacing a section |
| Ready to use | Usable once the joints are filled and compacted | Foot traffic in a day or two. Cars after about a week |
| Upkeep | Joints may need fresh sand now and then | Low upkeep. Sealing helps it last |

How it works
No mystery, no runaround. Tap a step to see what working with Marin Landscaping looks like.
Step 1 of 5
Tell us what you have in mind: a new patio, a driveway redo, a fence that's seen better days. A photo of the yard helps.
Step 2 of 5
We walk the space with you, measure it and look at drainage, access and what's there now, so the advice fits your yard.
Step 3 of 5
You see the scope, the materials and the cost before anything starts, with options if there's more than one good way to do it.
Step 4 of 5
Base first, then the surface: pavers set and locked in, concrete formed and poured, or a fence set post by post. We keep you posted.
Step 5 of 5
We go over the finished work with you, answer your questions and tell you how to look after it. Then we clean up.
We build paver patios, driveways, walkways and steps, fire pit areas, concrete driveways, concrete patios and walkways, and wood fences and gates. We're based in Menlo Park and work across the Bay Area.
Neither is best for everyone. Pavers cost more up front, come in many styles and can be repaired one section at a time. Concrete usually costs less up front and takes little upkeep, but it can crack as the ground moves. We'll go over both with you at the free estimate.
Size, materials, how much prep your yard needs (digging, removal, drainage), access for equipment and your city's requirements. That's why we price after we've seen the yard, and why the estimate is free.
